The active population of draglines with metric ton payload ratings of 20 mt and larger is over 500 and the database includes a total of more than 700. These are classified by the size classes below from the 20-30 mt class up to the largest draglines with 200 metric ton payload ratings. Bucyrus, Joy Global/Harnischfeger and OMZ account for the majority of these machines when including models shipped by OEM’s that have since been acquired by these three.
